Raising Money for Cancer Council NSW

I had so much fun on Saturday night, with my Fundraising Dinner, raising money for Cancer Council NSW, as part of my Stars of Newcastle journey.

Although it was stressful with getting everything ready with table decorations, prizes and menu selections…knowing that 70 people would be turning up at The Apollo Charlestown, ready to buy raffles tickets and generally have a great time…was just amazing.

We raised $1,600 with an Auction of a gorgeous painting from Lizzy Stagemanwhose amazing Artwork has been featured on The Block

Everyone had heaps of fun making their own airplanes with The Plane Game…and the $2 guessing competition was a hit.

In total we raised around $3,500 for my Stars of Newcastle journey for Cancer Council NSW…I can’t wait for the big dancing night on the 20th of September at Civic Theatre Newcastle….where this Disco Girl will be living her dream!!
